Madison Mulvihill
Madison Mulvihill grew up in the Phoenix area. She has a bachelor’s degree from ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. As a Cronkite News podcast producer, she covered many topics including a Biosphere 2 tropical forest study, the effect of COVID-19 on sleep, and the warming of Jupiter’s Icy Moons. She has experience as an audio reporter, host, and producer for Cronkite News – Arizona PBS. Her audio stories also aired on several local radio stations, including KJZZ. Madison has written for local newspapers and interned for RightThisMinute: The Viral Video Show, developing content and working on the web promotion team.
She is currently producing episodes for the Hear Arizona podcast series, UnAffordable. Across the country, and especially in Arizona, housing prices are on the rise, in addition to Arizona facing a housing shortage. Mulvihill has gone one-on-one with experts and Arizonans facing the issue first-hand to get answers as to why prices have skyrocketed, how this is affecting people in our community, and what kind of relief is available. Madison is also the digital editor creating all social media content for Hear Arizona.
